Alpine Meadows Stables is a non-discriminatory business. We ask that you notify us of any riders weighing 225lbs or more and that you be physically able to mount and dismount with minimal assistance from staff. Two step mounting block provided. Friendly and knowledgeable guide(s) always escort the rides.
Scenic Tour (approx 1 hr)
Great for first time riders and family groups! The
Scenic Tour crosses Bear Creek and rides through pine forests and Mule Ear meadows.
Ages 6 & up - $50 per person
Private Ride
Our Private Ride is for those individuals that prefer a more intimate experience. Perfect for couples, nervous riders, and young children! A private ride is just your group and required guides.
$90/hr per person
Mountain Ride (approx 2 hrs)
For those who have ridden before and want to
spend more time on the trail. The Mountain Ride
follows parts of the Western States Trail and
offers vistas of Juniper Mountain while crossing
Bear Creek and meandering through the high
mountain meadows.
$100 per person
Half Day Ride
For the more experienced rider, the half day ride
climbs up Juniper Mountain through Mule Ear
meadows, the Western States Trail and offers
panoramic views of Squaw Valley. Bring a camera!
$190 per person (minimum of 4 riders)
Pony Rides
Hailed as the best Pony Ride in all of Tahoe! Little
ones ride on their own trail including up and
down gentle slopes, through the forest and Mule
Ear meadows.
Parent leads, $10 per child, per lap
